SylvaniaVET is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our 7 Doctor, 24-hour emergency and general practice in Sylvania, Oh. We have state-of-the-art diagnostic and monitoring tools, and pain management is one of our top priorities. SylvaniaVET is a client-centered practice and AAHA certified since 1978.
Since we are a 24/7 facility, we are seeking candidates that can work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts when necessary. We prefer candidates with experience, however we will consider a new graduate that has the right attitude and is willing to learn and grow.

We are seeking candidates that meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
- Must be skilled in phlebotomy, catheter placement, radiology, drug calculation, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing care.
- Must be willing to pursue further continuing education to maintain Registered Veterinary Technician status.
- Possess the ability to appropriately handle, lift and restrain animals (dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics, etc.) and stand for long periods of time.
- Have basic organizational and computer skills as well as engaging people skills.
Our grooming department is looking for a bather, experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. We are a high volume, high quality business open 7 days/week. Work with Master Groomer and improve your knowledge/skills/techniques. Must be passionate about dogs, a team player, and have flexible schedule.
