SylvaniaVet is an animal hospital, NOT an animal shelter! On occasion our employees rescue animals that need homes, they are featured here. If you are looking for an animal, feel free to browse this page. If you are interested in one of the animals please call the hospital during regular business hours.
Please do not leave your puppy or kitty at our front door! Far too often these pets break free of their cages and boxes, and the staff ends up finding a note with an empty carrier. It is sad to think these once loved pets are now wandering around the streets and may end up severely injured or ill. If you need to find a pet home, contact one of the humane organizations found on our links page.
If you are looking for a lost pet, check with the humane organizations, local veterinarians, and the dog warden.
Cedric
Cedric is a retired blood donor cat at SylvaniaVET. After saving the lives of many other cats, Cedric is looking to spend his retirement years in a loving home. Cedric has a robust personality, and has spent a lot of time with our volunteer “cat cuddlers”, so we know that he is good with kids. He would love to cuddle up on your lap, or spend time watching birds out your window. Cedric is 8 years old, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Will you consider giving Cedric a loving home?

Warren
Warren is a retired blood donor cat at SylvaniaVET. After his years of service to save the lives of other cats, Warren deserves a loving forever home! Could it be with you? This big boy is 5 years old, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He would love a window seat to the world and a warm lap to curl up on. Warren is good with other cats and needs some play buddies. He definitely could use some exercise! Warren has a big heart and wants to make his place in yours.
