Hi! My name is Laura. I am one of the Registered Veterinary Technicians here at SylvaniaVET and have worked here since 1991. I graduated from Stautzenberger College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2001. I love all aspects of my job here, however, a few areas I am especially interested in are blood pressure management and cardiology, chemotherapy and oncology medicine, blood transfusion medicine and general internal medicine. I am a co-manager of the technician and assistant staff, coordinator of the canine and feline blood bank, AAHA Standard Compliance Coordinator, Red Cross Blood drive chairperson, coordinator of the “Bark for Life” relay dog walk and Team Leader for “Team SylvaniaVET” at the annual Relay for Life Sylvania for the American Cancer Society.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of my daughter, Adriana and son Dylan. We also share our home with several pets including our dogs Zoe and Oscar both Dachshunds, Puppy a Shepherd mix and Mason a Staffordshire Terrier mix, our birds, parakeets Skye and Green Day, a cockatiel named Philbert, several rescued cats and our rescued handicapped hamster Reeses.
