Dr. Taye Hart

Dr. Taye Hart graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine n 2009.  After graduation, she completed a 1-year rotating internship at the University of Minnesota’s Veterinary Medical Center, where she received additional training in internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, radiology, and her personal favorite, cardiology.  She then moved to Los Angeles for additional training in cardiology at the Animal Surgical & Emergency Center.  While in Los Angeles, Dr. Hart began her search for a general practice that would allow her to practice high quality medicine.  After looking throughout the entire country, she found SylvaniaVET, and it was a perfect match. 

Prior to vet school, Dr. Hart was a registered veterinary technician, and worked in the intensive care unit of Medvet, a large specialty and emergency practice in Columbus, Ohio. 

Dr. Hart grew up in Tipp City, Ohio, just north of Dayton.  She now lives with her husband, Bill, and their two cats, May and Rose.  She enjoys reading, shopping, and travelling.  Dr. Hart and her husband are both avid Buckeyes, having met during their undergraduate studies at Ohio State. 

Dr. Hart is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.
