Dr. Andrea is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Veterinary College and studied Biology and Zoology at Lourdes College where she received her undergraduate degree.  Andrea spent several weeks at SylvaniaVET during her clinical year of vet school as an intern, which is how she ended up being hired here after graduation from vet school.  She is a member of AAHA, AVMA, OVMA, TVMA and AZA.

Dr. Andrea started her career in the veterinary field by receiving her degree in Veterinary Technology from Stautzenberger College.  Dr. Andrea’s interests are in surgery, internal medicine and exotics medicine.  She did specialized training in marine mammal medicine and zoo medicine.

Dr. Andrea grew up in Whitehouse, Ohio and is very happy to be back home with her family and friends.  She is married to Michael and together they have 3 dogs (Maya, Ollie and Walter) and 4 cats (Ashbury, Stewie, Chloe and Tabitha.)  They are also planning on having goats, chickens and horses in the future.  Outside of veterinary medicine, her interests include running, working out, reading, concerts and hiking.
