Melanie has been a veterinary assistant at SylvaniaVET since August of ‘07.  Melanie is a Toledo  native that has always had a love of animals.  She has an adorable boxer/american bulldog mix named Gertie.  In her free time she enjoys swimming, biking, canoeing, mountain climbing and just recently basket weaving.  Melanie has recently begun pursuing her dream of becoming a stand up comedian.
