JANUARY 2004 FYI
HAPPY NEW YEAR
AND WHAT A YEAR IT IS GOING TO BE
Don't forget to give your dog is monthly heartworm
prevention
THIS MONTH'S FYI WILL BE DEVOTED TO INFORMATION
CRITICAL TO THE MOVE INTO THE NEW HOSPITAL.
A BULK MAIL FLYER is being sent
to all registered clients before the end of December. Please let us
know when you get yours.
Thursday, January 8 is our last
day of full service at the existing hospital. We will still have staff
on call and in the building overnight. No pet in our care will be
ignored during the move. If your pet has an emergency Friday, Saturday
or Sunday call us, the staff assigned to emergency duty will be there
to help you. We will staff the phone to make appointments for routine
care, boarding, day care or hydrotherapy.
Friday, January 9 and Saturday
January 10 are moving dates. We could use your help. If you would
like to be part of the move and have a few hours to pack, unpack and
stock give us a call and tell us the time you have available. The
more able bodies we have and the more vans for hauling the faster
the transition will go.
Sunday, January 11 is our grand
opening gala open house. You are all invited to attend the fund raising
gala. The full $25.00 admission fee is being donated to our charitable
foundation. The generosity of our suppliers has helped us cover all
expenses. Tickets will be required for attendance on Sunday, January
11. Check will be tax deductible and made out to the Memories Live
On Animal Foundation. Each attendee will be given a guided tour of
the new building before any pets are present. We will have many door
prizes, Gladieux is catering the food and beverages and each guest
will receive a gift. Buy your tickets now at the 5227 s main office
or call to make other arrangements. The gala is a once in a lifetime
opportunity to see the office in pristine condition.
Monday, January 12 we open for
business and all the animals are transported by limo from the old
office. Make appointments now for our first week of operation. Day
care will have its first guests. Be sure to get your dog signed up
for its free admission screening exam. Wouldn't it be great if your
dog was in the first day care play group ever?
Our new location will be ½
mile south of the current hospital at 4801 Holland-Sylvania at Harroun.
Our phone number remains 419-885-4421
Come to the gala and learn more
about the many new and innovative services the new hospital will provide.
A recent comment from our computer
supplier is worth passing on. " I have installed computer systems
in over 800 veterinary hospitals and have never seen a more complete
or better designed practice"
Thanks everyone for helping us
grow into our new state of the art hospital. It will enable us to
provide even better care to you and your pet.
